Manufacturing logic on steroids.
Specific Software Options.
More bang for the buck with smart Features.
NOT EVERYONE NEEDS IT…
In addition to the wide range of functions of our standard software, you have the option of adding even more useful modules. These offer additional functionality, even more comprehensive process documentation, sometimes just extra convenience. The wafer mapping, for example, offers an interesting functionality to handle defective chips on the wafer elegantly and efficiently and thus save considerable time in the production process.
…BUT THOSE WHO NEED IT, PROFIT ENORMOUSLY.
The optional CAD-Import function also contributes to time savings, as the CAD files which are usually available can be imported via a special filter. In wafflepack management, a lot of time and money can be saved by drastically reducing the set-up times for typical tasks, which are primarily associated with more frequent product changes. Use these opportunities as part of your strategy to create better market conditions for yourself.
Wafer Mapping.
Spcial Wafermapping.
A useful option that saves time and money.
FAREWELL TO INK DOTS…
With wafer mapping, defective chips on the wafer are not marked optically (by ink dots) but documented in a file assigned to the wafer. This not only saves an entire process step in wafer processing (before our machine), the wafer map also allows a classification of up to 255 levels (according to SEMI standard) that goes beyond the purely binary good-bad statement of the ink dot.
…AND BENEFIT FROM MORE DETAILED INFORMATION.
This means that not only completely unusable components can be excluded, but also functional components can be grouped according to properties (e.g. LEDs of the same brightness). In the production process, both filtering and sorting by bin code are possible, and in both cases the process is accelerated considerably, as only components that are marked as good are located at all. We support the import of SEMI G81 and G85 formats via network or USB stick. In addition, our modular configurable maploader supports an unmanageable variety of other text formats and any wafermap we can’t use yet, we consider an immediate call to action.
CAD-Import.
Numerous components, numerous assembly positions.
This works out of the box. But it can take a hell of a time…
THIS FUNCTION SAVES A VALUABLE AMOUNT OF TIME…
Complex MCM projects often have a very high number of placement positions that need to be populated with very many different components. Programming them all via teach in can be very time-consuming (and – admittedly – also somewhat error-prone). For the underlying substrates, however, there are practically always CAD data in which these positions are already stored.
…AND IS ALSO MORE DEPENDABLE AT THE SAME.
If these positions are exported in text form, they can be imported on the AMADYNE machines via an universal, highly configurable filter. This saves a considerable amount of time compared to classic teach-in and dramatically reduces the risk of incorrect placements due to incorrect programming. In addition, every subsequent change to the substrate layout normally only means a re-import of the changed CAD data. An investment that often pays for itself with the first application.
Wafflepack-Management.
A virtual warehouse in the machine.
Product changes are highly simplified.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS ARE SMALLER AND…
Our machines are particularly suitable for production with small and medium batch sizes and therefore frequent product changes. To further reduce the set-up times involved, we offer not only special hardware (the large toolbox, the magazine lift…) but also sophisticated software features. With the features “Wafflepack Management” and “Static Library” we literally offer a warehouse in the machine.
…MEDIUM LOT SIZES. IN THESE CASES THERE ARE OFTEN PRODUCT CHANGES.
All the necessary components are kept in the conditioned clean room of the machine, and the fill level of all magazines is monitored independently of the loaded production program. This means that a product change is normally simplified to a change of program and substrate. Due to the management function, the machine is always informed about the current availability of all required components – operator interventions, changeovers, material changes and search times are minimised. Set-up times are reduced from minutes to seconds. Anyone who has experienced this function will never want to do without it again.
