And, they only do that if they were created for the respective purpose. In the field of special engineering, there is a vast number of excellent modular systems available with which you can very quickly build very beautiful automatic machines – but they are not good enough for us in most cases. With regard to our customers, of course.

Very good results may frequently be achieved by using a combination of various standards, the colourful dicing up of various modular systems and some modifications. But often the parts from the modular system do not fit that well together after all, to really create an excellent result. Whoever comes to us as a customer may expect a truly individual solution for its needs. And, such a solution is not at all available as a modular system. This is why we still rely on solid engineering skills and in-house developments. It starts with the hardware design (mechanical and electrical). And, it continues with the software. All in all, our customers expect the best. And they have every right to do so!
So that everything remains within a solid structure.

WORKING IN THE MICROMETRE RANGE.
No one would practice calligraphy standing on a swaying boat. This is why a machine, which operates with the accuracy of a single micrometre, also needs a solid base and a stable structure. This is the structure we have given our machines. A structure of more than generously dimensioned steel profile tubes – which cannot be shaken in any way by any of the accelerations occurring in the process – therefore spans the axle system. In this way, the machine literally rests in itself. The axle systems themselves are made of high-quality cast materials, which are optimized in terms of stiffness and damping in elaborate FE simulations and cast by experienced high-tech companies.
WE HAVE THE PROCESS FIRMLY IN OUR HANDS.
The entire process-relevant inner workings of our machines are designed by our own design department, manufactured by our partner companies that have proven themselves over decades, and assembled by our own highly skilled production team. Each sub-assembly is implemented according to our vision. We have everything under control and you can also see this.
A TOOL AND THE MOUNTING INTERFACE FOR THE CUSTOMIZED CARRIER …
Every manufacturer must provide or “design” appropriate tools and mounting interfaces when making its machines fit for a customer product. Of course, we have to do that too and – yes – this also needs to be done conscientiously and competently. The devil is often enough in the detail and everyone knows – the smaller the part, the bigger the problem it can cause. But when we talk about design, then the term has not even begun with that.
… OR A FULL-SCALE MAGAZINE LIFT.
Almost all functional components of our machines originate from our own design. That’s why we can customize every aspect of almost any sub-assembly for each customer, if the process requires it. And because it all happens in-house, response times are short and responsibilities are clear. Whether we are designing a pick-up tool for a 150µm chip or a magazine lift for 400 waffle packs – you get a product from one source with one contact person. This is what we mean when we say we design for you.
